Hey, i've been looking for a radiator support for my 66 F100, most of the radiator supports on Ebay usually go for 400 and then has 400$ shipping on top of that and im on a budget since im only 17 and i dont have a lot of money.
I found a 64 Radiator support that i could afford and also has reasonable shipping prices on Dennis Carpenter's Site and we called they said it would work with the 66, just some cutting involved thats it. So then my dad called them and ready to order it, the company said they havent had this in stock for over a year
After looking in LMC, Ebay, Dennis Carpenter, Craigslist, i've exhausted my resources for that one specific part and now im asking everyone here if they know any good AFFORDABLE sources for a 61-66 radiator Support, i only have about 400 to spend. Help is very appreciated, thanks.
There were 3 different core supports used in the 61-66 body style...one that fits all 61-64, 65 4WD and 66 F250 4WD, 65 and 66 F350
the second fits 65 F100/250 2WD
The third fits 66 F1002 AND 4WD and 66 F250 2WD
the 61-4, etc also was used on some medium duty trucks and busses...but to keep it simple I intentionally left them out as those are fewer and further between then F100-350 trucks.
As to the price...they are a tough find...if yours is repairable I would look into that avenue...400 is about the going rate typically in wrecking yards as they are usually rusted out in most areas of the US except the desert areas typically...but there are exceptions...

post some pics if you can of the rust/rot to see what you have relating to the core support.
I've got two of these left:
They are used, with no rust. C2TZ16138G = 1961/64 F100/250 2WD/4WD / 1961/66 F350/600 / 1965 F100/250 4WD / 1966 F250 4WD.
If interested send me a P.M.
Have you tried the other truck vendors like Carolina Classics, Flashback F100's, National Parts Depot, etc for the repro support? I had not heard of them being on backorder.
I got a repro from NPD and with modification it works.
As I have no chance of getting a good used part these are the only option, they are probably the better way to go imho as the originals were pretty rough anyway.
I agonized with this same delima. After considering all the options, I decided to just repair mine. 2"X1" tubing and a little extra sheet metal and its stronger than new.
