The dreaded radiator core support question

Ok...I have read many threads on this topic and I am sure everyone is well aware of the amount of times similiar questions have been asked, however, I could not find any info on the differences between a 1966 2wd f100 and a 1966 4wd f100 radiator core support. The question is as follows: What has to be done to make a 1966 F100 2wd radiator core support fit a 1966 F100 4wd ?

I am pretty certain that a recent thread declared they were the same.

Post comments where Bill (NumberDummy) corrected me in clarifying the radiator support application. ** Is there a particular location where I can find the casting/Part Number, I have a rad support collecting dust, believe it's off a 65 F100?

C2TZ-16138-G .. Radiator Support: 1961/64 F100/250 2WD/4WD; 1961/66 F350/600; 1965 F100/250 4WD; 1966 F250 4WD

C6TZ-16138-B .. Radiator Support: 1966 F100/250 2WD

1966 f100 radiator support HELP!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, I've been reading and obviously this is an issue. I need a replacement radiator support for my 66 f100 2wd. I don't mind doing some modifications to the radiator mounts and battery tray. Which support will work? Which year support should I buy? Lmc has the 61-64 support for a f100 2wd will that mount up to the frame correctly? If I have to make some mods to the fender mounts that's ok. I'm just confused on which to buy. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Where in Ca. do you live? This will help me as well as others who might have what you need.
