going on a service call maybe this week and ill be doing a few odds and ends. but mainly would like to know if any one has a basic run down of an oil cooler?
im sure i can figure it out with out an issue but would like to know what kind of tools i may need for the drive out there and how bad it is or hints and tricks. thanks guys.
oh and one more thing, can only assume a oil bypass is straight forward, any one do one?
10 mm socket, 3/8th drive swivel, a nice long extension (18" min, 3' works nice) and a ratchet to get the two front bolts are the best tools I have found going right through the fender well.
sweet, thanks tim. read something about taking off the steering and what not?
nah you don't need to take any thing off but the cooler. I have unbolted the motor mount and jacked the engine up on one just cause I got sick of trying to thread it out of there but you don't need to take anything else off.
