Window Problems

Hey guys. I have a 06 f-150 crewcab and the driverside front window is having a hard time rolling up. It goes down fine, but getting it back up you have to play with the switch for a while and then it will roll up. Has anyone else had this issue? If so was it it the switch or the window motor? Thanks in advance.

What you have is a common issue. I just dealt with the same problem early this spring. It's rather annoying.

Here's a thread from last week on the same topic:

Hopefully this helps!

iv'e had the same problem on both driver and pass side windows, one day they work fine, other days i keep hitting the up button repeatedly until something happens, but then they will just quit. for me it wasn't the switch, last year my driver side went out and i replaced the regulator and motor for $89 at advance auto parts and this past month i replaced the driver side window guts for the same price, and they have been working great ever since. my truck is an 04, so maybe the average life of the motor/regulator is 7 years? wtf i don't know, all i can say is that i got fet up with them and replaced them, but they should last me at least another good 7 years.

easy to get in the door so check it out. wiring is simple so it is either the switch or the regulator
