Check this out. This guy's got a 4bbl Clifford Intake, and a set of headers (unknown brand) on Craigslist. Doesn't have a price listed, though.. My question is, do you guys think these are worth making an offer on?

It is always worth making an offer. The question, though, is what will the final cost be, and what is the condition of the goods. With the intake you need to know if it has the hose bid connections for coolant. If not, then it is an old model. You also need to know if it has any cracks/welds on the mounting flanges.
Headers are a diff. world, and peculiar to the model you want to install on. Each vehicle needs diff. headers. If the tubes are 1 5/8" and not 1 1/2", then they are most likely Cliffords too. I also see a carb. That might be a good item to ****** up, depending on what it is.
Agreed.
The condition of everything is what would make or break the deal for me.
Any broken/damaged ears on the intake.
What condition is the carb in? What size is it? Is it too big?
But, totally worth making an offer on. Who knows, they might just need to be cleaned up!
Agreed, the condition would be the key. CL can be a great place to find some smoking deals. I recently purchased an edelbrock performer 390 intake (like new) and a set of new-in-box headers for a 2wd 390 powered truck for $120.
If the seller is fairly close to where you are, going for a personal inspection could pay off quite nicely. The words "make offer" pretty much implies the seller has no use for them, and could be willing to make a very good deal on the package, just to get it out of their way.
Of course seeing those items makes me wonder about the head they were bolted to. Was it ported, with sbc valves, trick rollers, or ... the all elusive X flow, trying to find its way home to me.
For me here's the break down on how much I'd offer.
If the intake is in good physical condition - $100-$200.
Carb - used carbs are a crap shoot, so I wouldn't go more then $50 on the carb.
Used headers can be rotted or warped. And you have no idea if they will fit your vehicle ( you can't go by what the seller says, he's trying to sell parts ) . So I never pay more then $50.00 for used headers.
If you are interested in the parts go look at them and I'd shoot him an offer for $150 or $200 for it all. If he says no have him shoot you a counter offer. You can always offer more. But it's kind of hard to offer less then your initial offer.
Oh yea and show up with cash. Cash talks and BS walks!
Dude, if the owner is in GA then I think he has the intake and header on ebay. Search under 'Offenhauser intake' and you'll see. Maybe he already sold the carb.

The intake on Cl is a Clifford intake, the Ebay one is an Offy DP. Look at the CL pic. The carb mounting flange is bolted on. That's a dead give away it's a clifford intake.
I got mine from ebay. Bought the whole thing (with carb) for $280. Also know that 2 1/4" collectors are hard to find these days and might be worth an extra buck or two. 2 1/2" might cost you some torque. the headers might be Clifford or pace setter headers. Mine are unknown as well but those are the two leaders for dual flange.
Well.. Unfortunately, I was outbid on the Offy intake and the unknown headers... By a whopping $5... Friggin ebay... Ha. Now I guess I'm just waiting to hear back from the other guy about his clifford stuff.
