Scott - Wow, $1k of work done?! What all had to be done to the truck? Glad to hear you got your truck back, but that's a lot of money.
Monkey - Wish I would have read about that bike event ahead of time. The wife and I wouldn't have minded checking it out. Ya, there isn't much around here for sportbikes actually. What type of bike do you ride? I like to see all types of bikes, but of course I like sportbikes best.
I've seen a couple of gay pride events and those people definitely like to live it up. Everyone should enjoy life that way.
It's Steve out at DynoTech, Las Vegas Dyno Tech, he is apparently friends with the guy that owns or is a partner in the the restaurant/bar there on the corner. I don't think there is a schedule on the website, but he said the third Friday of every month was his target. He also said something about doing a night in conjunction with BikeFest, so I don't know what that means. I have several bikes, a 78 GS750E I'm messin with, I got my stepson a 97 GS500E, and worked on it a little. It really came out nice. I also have this cool 76 XL250 that will be my girlfriends cafe/hooligan bike. Might have it ready for the next bike night. My primary bike is an 01 Ducati 750 Half Fairing Super Sport, and just picked up an 04 Kawasaki 636 track bike. First track day on it should be middle of September at the classic course. Anxious for that. I have several other old and newer dirtbikes as well. I have this cute little JR50 that I'm trying to make look like a late seventies Husqvarna 125. So far so good. Maybe I'll put up some pics when it gets a little further along. Jeez, I must have some kind of brain toooomer.
Oh, okay...I've been to LV Dyno Tech before. It's been a year or more, but I've been up there for a couple of events before. I didn't know they were trying to do a monthly bike night type thing.
It's weird because Vegas does have a lot of sportbikes and even a lot of sportbike motorcycle clubs around here, but yet we really don't have any type of big bike night that goes on here. I was surprised about that when I first moved here. Not that I'd be going every week or what not, but sometimes it's nice to go and hang out with others of your own "kind", ya know? LOL
Coolness on your bikes. They sound great. If I'm still here in Vegas in mid-Sept I might come check out the Classic Course trackday. Who is holding it? I've done a few trackdays at that classic course. My last one was in Nov 2010 there. I need to do another trackday, I'm looooong overdue, but I just can't afford it right now with getting ready to move and no job and all that. Kinda puts a pinch in your budget and all. LOL But if I'm around and do come out there, I'll try and post up ahead of time so I can come out and say howdy to ya.

Well they replaced all ball joints, repacked my wheel bearings and hubs, install new tie rod, installed my new adjustable track bar, new bushings all the way around, oil change, alignment, and fixed my exhaust rattle.....oh and the steering box joint was toast too.
So I think it was worth it for sure as other places almost wanted double. lol
Now, its ramen noodles for a while! HAHAHA
LOL!!!! Been there; done that before! But I'm glad to hear that it's all good to go now. That does sound like a ton of work for $1k though, so sounds like you got a deal when you put it that way. I'm sure it rides like a brand new truck now! I probably need to do that to my 03 since she has a ton of miles on it when I got it.
Good morning everyone. Seeing as I have not been around lately to see what has been happening I just blanket approved the 17 member requests.
Welcome all 17 new members. I would do individual welcome threads but I am tired and have to pull the transmission, t-case, and drivelines out of my truck when I get up.
