A woman walked into the kitchen to find her
husband stalking around with a fly swatter
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Hunting Flies" He responded.
"Oh! Killing any?" She asked.
"Yep, 3 males, 2 Females," he replied.
Intrigued, she asked.
"How can you tell them apart?"
He responded,
"3 were on a beer can,
2 were on the phone."

Hey! I'm not sure what their safety situation is out there, but the Mr works with the club president so I can find out. We only have 2 official weekends of racing left, this coming weekend and the Dirt Track Championship in October. There's a charity race in November as well but that's just for fun (and it's usually freezing!) We raced two weeks ago and were pulling a strong second when another car tagged us. Not enough time left to fix it and finish

Last weekend we took first again in the chili cook-off. Had a big end of summer swimming party this weekend. I'm just not on the computer so much now that it's not part of my job. I need to figure out how to get on here on my phone.

Happy Tuesday to you all! Tomorrow is my pre-op for my lasik surgery, so I'm excited. If all goes well, then I have my surgery on Thursday. I'm stoked!
Plus, I'm still waiting to hear from my double interview at the end of last week. I was supposed to hear something back either late yesterday or sometime today. Well, I haven't heard yet. So, I'm trying to keep myself busy mentally so I don't go nuts. LOL
Hopefully I'll get good news soon.
I hope everyone is having a good Tuesday and things are going well for you all.

Good luck with your pre-op & surgery.I'll say a prayer that you hear something today on your interview. Let us know what they say when you find out.

Good luck with your surgery Mat, the worst part is the smell so I've been told.
Donna, they do need one but the Mr says it doesn't pay much. I gave him your number to give to the person in charge.

Thank you ladies....
My pre-op went great. Everything is good to go and I'm scheduled for my lasik surgery at 5:40 pm today. I can't wait. I've already started my medications and stuff as of last night, so now I just have to go in this evening and get the surgery done, then go to sleep tonight and tomorrow morning I should be able to see my alarm clock without any glasses/contacts. Wooohooo!
Ya, Donna, I'm actually stoked. LOL
Time to move to the new thread. ;-) LOL
I'll post the interview info on the new thread.
My pre-op went great. Everything is good to go and I'm scheduled for my lasik surgery at 5:40 pm today. I can't wait.
