intro and dash question

I'd first like to say hi to everyone here. I've stopped in from time to time to ask about my dad's truck and to ask about trucks I was looking at. Well on Friday I bought a 06 F350, so I'll be spending more time here now.

So my first simple question is this; what is the hook looking thing on the bottom of the dash for? It is on the pass side of the dash under the cup holder.

I'm sure as I explore my new truck I'll have more dumb questions to come. lol

Congratulations on the new truck!

The hook has always been a source of mystery and intrigue. Mainly, it's just a handy place to hook a trash bag, etc.

I've been told it makes a handy place to hang female undergarments...I of course wouldn't know about such things...

Thanks for the congrats. I like the idea for a trash bag.

As for the undergarments, I think the vinyl seats might be a little sticky, but easier to clean.
