Cab Lights
#17
Ok, here it goes...the headliner didn't need to be completely removed. Just drop the front down. I removed the visors, over head console and the a-pillar trim pieces. It dropped it by about a foot or so. Plenty of room to work. I rested it on the front seat headrests so it wouldn't kink. The wire harness has two connectors, one for the airbags and one for the sirius antenna. The connector for the airbags is also the same one for the lights. The light/airbag connector is at the base of the a-pillar behind the dash and the satellite antenna connector is a little lower down, just above the parking brake pedal. The lights do not come with a template. I got a template somewhere on this site, just dont remember which thread. Do a search and you will come up with it. I used a high speed drill bit for the mounting holes, they are 1/4 inch, and a 7/8 inch stepped drill bit for the connector holes. Very clean. Dont forget to seal the raw metal after you drill with some touch up paint. There are a few pics in a thread I had in the 6.7 diesel forum on FTE. Good luck.
thank you sir!!
