I have been looking to get the recon cab lights for my 99 350 for a while now. I ordered them a couple of weeks ago and got an email quickly from the website telling me that the lights would be drop shipped directly from recon. I waited two weeks without hearing anything from recon when I contacted the original seller. They told me that they had not heard anything from recon and that it is a waste of time to try and call recon because they rarely answer the phone and never return messages. The original seller was top notch and agreed to refund my money right away. I have no issue with them. My problem is I still want the damn lights. Where is a good place to get them or should I just get the factory lights from my local dealership?
Recon has great products just terrible customer service. I waited over a month for my smoked cab light covers. Love the products but is a pain. I would look on eBay, I got my factory set of lights from a dealership online for $97 with the wiring harness, and then just get a smoked set of covers. I liked the idea of OEM lights though. There has been many people on here that have had issues with Recon.
I really want the mirror covers but worried they will not look good. I have king ranch white painted mirrors so I think they will go just worried. Any body have a pic of them installed on a white painted mirror?
I got a smoking deal on Fleabay on my OEM lights. It came with everything lights, harness, the whole shootin' match. I see now that the same setups are about twice as much. I did swap out my amber lenses with some recon smoked ones about a year ago and love the look.
