I wish I could help you with that. I would have bring my AE scanner.

Was hoping you in West Bloomfield.

Make me wonder why it have many new injectors at low mileage. What color fuel filter look like when you replace.

I didn't get to do the lower fuel filter, but the top filter looked OK. A friend is going with me on Monday to try and fix it. He has a scangauge2 and the necessary socket for the lower fuel filter. I purchased the STC fitting, updated stand pipes and dummy plugs just in case I lost HOP.

I'd love to have the AE and Ford bundle, but it's not in the cards quite yet.

I know your pain feeling. That when I bought first 00 F350 7.3L that was nonrunning. It was stress moment with couple people who refused to help you. I learn those people aren't your friend but wait when they need your help you tell them you never been there for me.

That how I bite and pay $370 on AE scanner it was best investment I done.

Have you tried clean all connectors on engine to make sure it get good voltage though current.

Yeah, good thing is I have great support from friends even people on this site that I've never even spoken to offered to help in any way. There's something about a "family" forum like this that brings comfort to people like me that are new and stuck in a bad situation and don't know much about the truck. I am new to diesels but have wrenched on everything I've ever owned and this one won't be any different once I get my bearings about it.

I didn't have a chance to get into the diagnosis before I had to leave, but I was able to go through a few things like pulling the ICP connector, checking FICM connectors, upper fuel bowl and oil bowl receiving fuel and oil repsectively.

I am still deciding on which scanner to get and I like the price of the scangauge2. Is the autoenginuity scanner THAT much better?

Comparing SGII and AE is like comparing watermelons and onions. SGII is good for gauges and some code scanning but AE gives you SO much more detail and so many more capabilities BUT also requires a PC.

Ah, that PC thing would be an issue unless the software can run on a Mac.

I changed the dummy plugs and stand pipes yesterday and still have no start. The parts came out with perfect o-rings, but I changed them anyway. The ICP is .24V at KOEO and got up to .52V after 30 seconds of cranking on 7 different attempts, sometimes not even that high.

I'm doing the STC fitting tomorrow hoping for a miracle. I'm also wondering if the IPR is stuck open, so the scangauge will let us know soon.
