That would eliminate the icp sensor it's self as being the problem. If it's starts with it unplugged then you need to replace the icp and pigtail.

So, if the V is low, I have an oil pressure issue and if the V is high(over .8 to 1.15), the issue is somewhere else, correct?

Mostly that is true. That is why you ALSO try starting after disconnecting the ICP. That test should rule out a bad ICP sensor.

Well, the ICP is fine then, no chaffing on that harness. I am making the 6hr trip home now for a week of training that I have to do. I hope to get back up as soon as I can with a scangaugeII and get this thing fixed. I hope it's something easy and cheap, but I'm not counting on it especially with my luck as of late.

This is going to be a long week while I sit here and fester knowing I can't do a thing about it.

I found the OASIS report on my truck and found quite a few interesting things.

At 35K miles:
the cold side CAC tube was replaced, all 8 injectors replaced due to sticktion.

At 70K:
EGR cleaned

At 90K:
installed stc bracket and or replaced stc fittings, EGR replaced due to failure.

At 100K:
replaced injector harness and injectors 3, 4, 6. Replaced EGR cooler and oil cooler. Found code P2291 - repair and replaced IPR and HPOP.

That's all I got...nothing on there since and the truck has 204K on it.

Any thoughts?

The cabin is on Drummond Island...the E end of the UP. It's about an hour drive after the bridge. I will definitely take your offer into consideration, thank you!!!!

I'm gathering a list of possible fixes and considering taking with me:

OEM oil filter and cap
OEM fuel filters and caps
blue spring update

still thinking about:
STC fitting
dummy plugs
stand pipes

If I take the HPOP parts, I am also considering an EGR delete kit while I'm in there.
