did u jus recently have a brake job? maybe the guy didnt install ur brake pads on right.
did this prob happen before or jus out of the blue recently? there is also a way to adjust the brake pedal too, but tats the last thing i do. i'd check the brake lines, master brake cylinder, all brake pads to make sure they're calibrated and adjusted right. check the rotors and calipers too.
something's wrong and finding out the root source of the prob is the tricky part but most necessary. if u can, have a mechanic look at it. dont need to be a ford mechanic, but at least a mechanic who knows wat they're doing and has experience working on ur vehicle b4. good luck!
might be faulty master cylinder, faulty vacuum pump, or clogged brake lines. have a mechanic check these first. most of the time, these are usually the problems.
