Is it tough to shift From Neutral to Park as when parked on a hill with no e-brake or will it not shift until you fiddle with it? If it is the latter I bet it is in the safety lock mechanism. I have heard of multiple problems like this on other vehicles usually Toyotas and Hondas and it was either the switch on the brake pedal or the actual electronic lock mechanism. Just ran out and checked mine. You should hear a strong and clear clicking in your column when you depress the brake. Unless you have center console shifting of course then I would think that you should still hear the click. Next time it sticks try tap dancing the brake pedal. BTW Those Toyotas and Hondas were center console shifters. My two cents. Good Luck! Shawn

As Shawn eluded to, it's likely the brake pedal switch.
