A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed. I think that a lot of us have finished our trucks and don't have questions or need sources. So, we just lurk waiting to help the newbies as they encounter the same problems and pitfalls that happened to us. Ah, the cycle of life continues. Jag
I'm still here, Ilya. I just have some new user names and accounts - about 25 of them (besides this one which I'll sacrifice today). Someone left Tim's back door WIDE open - LOL.

Nice to see the old gang checking in. Maybe someone can help me remember the name of the guy down in central CA that had to sell his just-finished 57 PU? We were simpatico because he had a 289 in it like mine. What a HP monster these are! Jag
I think you are thinking of Darryl (DS02F250). His location said Ventura, but I'm geographically challenged...
Neat thread-I still lurk occassionally but don't get back nearly as often as I'd like. Good to see some of the old farts still hangin' around.

I am like some of you guys these days, just come on to browse around when ever I get a chance to, life is so hectic driving the 53 around on the weekends when the sun is out. The good old truck (modified) doesn't miss a beat. There is a lot of people who are missing these days in this forum when I use to post regular, and there are still some names that I remember from the days that are still on. Keep the old truck syndrome going. Cheers Aussie 53
thanks for the complement iwannaflattie, it's my prise and joy. I just love driving it around and taking it to weekend shows and showing it off. cheers
I also just check in every once in a while, don't post much but sure learn a lot from all of you. I too agree, Aussie, that is one sweet looking truck!
