    Hi Bruce,

Yes we achieved it buy notching the frame as you can see and actually bolting the cross member to the frame rail which is about 6 inches from bottom of the rail to the top of cross member. Yeah I did want the A arms coming through the inner guard.

    Cheers

    Hi Paul,

I have studied your chassis gallery a great deal. I am putting a XJ6 ifs under my 56 f100. Your build is the only one I've seen where the upper a arm is not sitting above the frame rail. I like that a lot, I like the resulting ride height. I may even place them a bit lower on mine. I am also using a 351C, along with a 8.8 and something I have not seen on this forum a truck arm rear suspension. Thanks for the great photos.

    Best Regards,

Hi, Sorry I haven't replied to your message before. This is the first time I've been in here and never knew that they changed it all. Any IFS you choose to put in whether it be Jag, WB one tonner, mustang will drop your rider height considerable. I guess the only solution if you don't want the ride height that low is Air bag and that is expensive way to go if your not planning to build a million dollar truck.
If you need any info just le tme know and I see if i can help you.
    Cheers

Hows it going? Have enjoyed your posts regarding the installation of jag IRS & IFS.
What i cant get my head around is the amount the vehicle will drop once these parts are installed. Is this controllable? I have a 55 f100 and am looking to do this kind of a job once its all clear in my mind. There doesnt seem that much info locally here in Perth WA.
    Cheers.
