I always thought that was funny. Another of my favorite "Enzoisms" is when asked why he wouldn't take tobacco sponsor money for his F1 team, he classicly responded, "A Ferrari doesn't smoke."

I don't get it, what are the side brushes and side guards pictured above supposed to accomplish? I can see the armored ones during wartime, but the brushes and side skirts seem to be more of a steering concern and not keeping mud off the tire?
