Thanks for the clarification, Bill. My real intent was to let Jason know the detent was on the upper end of the steering column, not down on the tranmission. I've had mine apart before but couldn't remember exactly where it was in the column.

She contacted via P/M on another matter, said she has the '64/72 truck CD parts catalog.
So...I listed the catalog reference for her...and for anyone else that's interested.
