vc9 was 31.50 a quart.two quarts was a third of the cost of a new radiator.........doh!.

Ahhh they dropped the price in the last year since they first introduced it.

But if it doesn't work... you are back to a new rad.

They haven't dropped the price. Over a year ago I priced it at $26.50/qt online. It has slowly gone up like everything else.

I caught it all in a pan and got rid of it at work.just avoid the drains with fish painted around them!.

has any body tried CLR on there old oil coolers to see if the product will remove the scaleing. I know running it through the cooling system will create big problems. just a question,I know there are alott of old coolers out there to try on.

Considering the cost of damage if you are wrong... CLR is pretty expensive.

What problems will it cause? If you know something we don't then give it up--LOL. We are here to learn.

For the life of me, honestly, I can't think of anything it will harm.

I know.its safe on all plumbing,why not aluminum,cast iron,copper,and plastic?.
