Will just got back from the dealer with the dust shield. This will make a hell of a difference. The tech said that he made the parts guts aware of this piece after one person already went through three engines. But when I talked to them they said go to NAPA for shims.. Makes you wonder..

I just "feel" mine tight and have never had a problem but I do use a 1/4" ratchet to keep from overtorquing.
Truck is running. Going to take for a test drive. It is smoking abit of blue smoke but I think that it is just the fuel burning off from all the fuel going in the exhaust before. I hope. Wish me luck.
After two months with truck down, it seems to run veryy good now. 12,000 bucks later it is running fine. Would have been more if I didn't do the repairs. Just gald to have my truck back. Thanks everyone!!!
