2011 AUTO climate control question

2011 AUTO climate control question
I have a 2011 Lariat with the auto climate control and when i set it all the way to the lowest setting (60 degrees) the air dosent get that cool unless i turn the A/C button on. Is having the a/c button on in auto mode normal??

Yes, the A/C button has to be on. I keep mine set at 70-72*, keeps it nice and cool.

Ok glad to hear its a normal thing! The owners manual was pretty vague about it.
