Appreciate it! Unfortunately I think the pedals and possibly wiring are different. I have a 2006 although it is a manual the pedal and connector are different and looking at the voltage ranges between the 1 you linked and the 1 in the first post they're different. Do you have a pinout of the app sensor connector? I have 1 for the 04 so I can verify if they change and test accordingly.
Pinout of the sensor connector is in the APP Sensor Introduction pdf.
Here is also an ohm out Rusty Axelrod posted of the Accelerator Pedal.

It does appear the 2004 and 2006 have different connector pinouts. You can scour online looking for it, or do like I did -- Buy the manuals. If you look on ebay, there are disks with the manuals as well as books. I have both for the 2006. If you get one on disk, try to get one that includes circuit diagrams and the Powertrain Control/Emmissions Diagnosis as well as the Workshop Manuals.
Be advised though, they can be quirky to get installed and run correctly on newer Windows versions, or at least mine is. Ford uses an interactive app to access different parts of the manual with the disk in your cd/dvd drive. They couldn't be simple like Honda and just make it a large pdf you can copy to your hard drive. But it's nice to be able to print pdfs of the sections you need instead of having a thick manual open to work with.
For this diagnosis, the PC/ED manual specifically has the pinpoint test and APP sensor info. But other manuals will have circuit diagrams as well as component locations, etc. that are quite helpful as well.
