did anyone know about the engineering test mode on the message center, i found this info on another forum, i havent tired it yet but i hear there are a few different pages of information that can be displayed.


this is how you are supose to be able to get to it:
"If you have the full message center, then you hold the "down button" on the left side of the steering wheel while you turn the key from off to on. There can't be any warnings on the message center, like "Drivers Door Open" or "Check Coolant Additive", or it won't go into test mode. I had to clear some warning on mine before it would work. " the instructions were copy and pasted from another forum.

I just tried this and it works well. Now if I only knew what everything means on the different screens.

 

It's also in the TECH FOLDER!

 

I just did this and it says software version 07/30/2010. Truck was built 12/10. Does this mean I need a flash?

Thanks 720 deere for the link to the prior thread, i wasn't a member then. And is anyone else having problems with this topic in the tech folder, it wont open correctly for me. others open fine. i have tried on two computers but it could also be that im currently in iraq and many pages dont work over here.

For those that have done this, what software version does it say you have?

My truck was built 9/24/10 and the software version is 3/08/10 as I recall. I know it was at least March but not positive on the day.
