radio clock display delay
i have 98 with semi premium factory radio with radio station display on one side and clock display on other. About a week ago this started. When i start out there is no displays of the station or clock, and after i start driving it ulluminates and fades in and out and eventually it stays lite up.

Unfortunatly, it sounds like your radio display is dying. It is a common problem with your radio. There was a recent thread on this subject that might be of interest to you:
