i am trying to find out why my check engine light is on and i cant get a reader to connect to my truck. i have tried 2 different harbor freight readers (not the best anyway) so i went to autozone and used their rental and still cannot get it to connect. im hoping its a connection that came unplugged but from what i can see under the dash, evertything looks like it is there. any ideas?

 

ok i fixed the problem. i wasnt getting any power to the plug. i did some research and found there was no fuse in the #3 spot, explains y my cig lighter was not working, but the problem is fixed
