Hey guys have a leak on what i believe to be the tranny cooling lines the line is just below the pulley for the a/c compressor wondering if i could cut out a section and replace them hoses of good quality.
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or have done a job like this before, any insight would be great thank you.

Reason: spelling
Normally there are flex sections in both lines.
You can repair using transmission specific hose rated for that fluid and pressure.
Cut the line with tubing cutters.
Clear the inside out from the cut then put a small amount of flare on the ends using a flaring tool. The small amount of flare is to insure the hose does not blow off after the hose relaxes with time and heat. Re check the clamps from time to time to see if there is any seepage.
Slip the hose on and clamp using two clamps on each end.
Perfect the only problem is that the side that is leaking is close to those flex hoses and they are pretty rusty so might not be able to flare that side but its worth a try.
