I need to reset my computer

Having problems with finding the brain , not the pcm. Will not communicate with code reader. Tried unhooking batteries several times. anyother advice.

Try This

Check your fuse for your cigarette lighter. If I am not mistaken the data port runs off the same fuse. Does your cigarette lighter work?

If you've disconnected both batteries at the same time you've reset the computer. Can you explain more about what's wrong? I don't understand your problem.

Yes my cig lighter is working fine. The problem I'm having is that i was putting my programmer back in and there was an interupption, now the truck is in limbo,(you turn the key to start and the dash lights come on but no stater) you do hear the relay from under the hood. I read somthing about a logic power fuse, but I can't find it on any scematic. Thanks

Contact Tech Support for the programmer you are using. They should be able to rebuild your stock file and get it back on your tuner so you can return it to stock. If they can't you may need to flatbed it to a dealer and have them reflash your truck.

Brought it to dealer yesterday, will keep you posted. The dealer tech for my programmer wasn't all that helpful. Defenitely said they couldn't put togethor a stock tune.
