High pressure hydraulic hose would suffice. However, I have a buddy in Oregon that tried it and eventually the fittings failed.

move the icp from heat

I JUST, came from a industrial hose store. 3 towns over.in mesa az. The thread is a 12m x 1.5 threads the female is the hard one to find,& they wanted to put together several fittings to adapt it. 7 it just looked all cobbeled up. so i walked.. OTHER people have had the same idea, to get the sensor away from the turbo,& heat. but Im told not only is oil temp 200 but the hose will need 100% duty cycle at 4,000 psi.? no wonder ford cant keep a icp senson together.. any more info would be help full..

At the HPOP. Unknown if it was due to the psi involved (4000 psi) or failure from vibration.

However, it was the adaptor to go from the HPOP to -4 JIC fitting that failed.

There were no issues with trapped air as some have theorized nor response time from the extra length of hose.

Plan B was to remote mount from the passenger oil rail bleed screw thru the valve cover. I am uncertain if he (his name is Wes) has tried that approach yet, although he did I am sure I would have heard about it.

So, Obviously, Brake or hydraulic hose cant. take the heat & pressure. JUST like fords sensor.. That was My Thought, to get the sensor away from the heat of the turbo. How about some kind of super heat insulation.? Out Of ALL, These P.O.S. out There, Has ANYONE HAD Success with them.?

It was the adaptor that failed and not the hose.

However it was just passed along to me that the reaction time was greatly compromised remote locating the Sensor.

2 strikes against remote locating the ICP sensor.
