I want to pop a a bit of ledge, anyone got some equipment I could borrow?
Anyone have something that would break up a bit of ledge?
I dug a trench from the house to the vernal creek and at the high end is a hump of ledge that steps down, suggesting that its cracked underneath.
I'd like to take out the top ~2 foot layer.
The grains run with the trench, so I figure I just can't sledge hammer / pickaxe the face apart down the length of the trench.
The rock composition of the ledge appears to be white globs of something dispersed through the stone.
I went to the rental place here in Stratford and they had a Hilti electric jack hammer and they said its only good for up to 4 inches of cement floor and wouldn't get through anything thicker or tougher.
Just got back from wheelin! Lots of high water, driving through the streams, mud, a near worthless defroster, did quite a bit of logging with my front bumper! Only bad thing is that the more rotten side of my bed, collapsed Oh well, more motivation to build a new one eventually!
