Kyle, I had the Hella conversions in my 94 Chevy Blazer (diesel), my 95 GMC Sierra pickup (diesel) and currently in my 06 van.
After about ten years I can see that the glass yellows, so I just buy a new set when I get my next ride. The Expedition uses the modern molded units.

although there were bikinis, some nice ones in fact, our job is definitely NOT the one to be on. concrete shows up 2 hours late every day, then radio flyer with pump and 2 non english speaking workers do the exact opposite of what we want them to. also, cars like to drive through our coned off area to avoid the wide open lane of travel. there were some bikinis though.

we had a liner that came with a hole in it today.. the customer almost had a heart attack until we told him we have a patch kit..

i should elaborate.....its not sales tax, its a "usage" tax based on book value. thats why when you write $1 for the bill of sale they still tax you on $14,000.

Man thats terrible. I was looking on the site they use, NADA, and there is no trade in value for the 1985. However when you look at private in state sales, they say its only on vehicles 1991 and newer. Maybe ill have to call these people and figure it out.

usually on older vehicles they dont break out the book on you, but if your bill of sale is made out for a value that sounds off my experience has shown that they will take the book out and tax you on book value. i bought my 97 for 14k, payed taxes on 21k.

Wow, this state has terrible taxes. I was living in hawaii for the past year, have several buddies who have moved out there as well, along with one of my buddies parents. They currently have a 2million dollar house out there right next to the water that they built, and have a 400K house in salem ct, they have been out there for a few years now, and it costs them less to live in the 2mil house out in hawaii, than it did to live in salem! Unreal!

Long day for me today.
I had to hang a chandelier in a 19' ceiling, and hang 590 hanging pieces of fake crystal from it. That only took 10 man hours. Oh, and that was after two other jobs.
But I got to use my new ladder!
But this was full of win, Crystal Light Fruit Punch and Jack.
