Please for the love of all thats holy tell me that what you have is some rare 78 1/2 F425 that would be impossible to find a replacement frame or replacement truck. Otherwise kick yourself in the *** for being an idiot.
And Dave is right, the frame is shot. I jacked it up and the bottom half of it fell off. I figure with that kind of frame, I can't do any harm welding on it.
I replaced the back 2 feet or so with tubing. I sleeved the old frame with the tube, welded it, plated the sides and bottom. It'll be better then what was falling off of it. The only reason i'm even doing anything with the Jeep is because it's been sitting in the bushes and $300 will buy pretty much everything for it.
I mean yes.. of course.. it's a '78 F425. But you can't see it. Cause it's mine. I was asking about the fuel tank and you just had to know about the frame. Jackass. :flipoff:
