They are used parts but the price is right. They also have a full spline C6 forward drum for $39.
Who did you buy the master kit from?
HT Powertrain (Darrell's link) should have all the hard parts you need. The sun gear in the coast clutch drum presses out. I swapped it to my 4 clutch CC drum when I did the upgrade.

The issue I had with the clutch packs was premature wear in the splines/teeth. When you go with too many clutches and steels, the the plates are thinner and weaker. The first kit I bought had 6 forward clutches and 8 direct. I chose to go back through the trans after my loose feed bolt incident and used a kit with 5 forward clutches and 7 direct that have hardened teeth for strength and longevity.

Darrell they are Alto clutchs.
My kits had the Alto Red Eagle clutch packs also.
I would look closely at the center support housing for any signs of wear at the contact points in the case. The dual load (bearing & bushing) version upgrade is something that I recommend. Or, you can upgrade the stock housing by machining the pads down and adding a snap ring for almost 360* support and a tighter fit to prevent "walking" of the housing during OD and Intermediate clutch applications. The dual load CS has this machining also.
If you have any questions about the upgrades or anything else, just holler.
PM sent.
I was in your situation years ago and couldn't swing a BTS.. Ended up gettin a stock rebuild.. Well of course about a year later, I blew that one up too and wasted about $2000.. Ended up getting a BTS tranny and it sure lives up to all the hype you hear.. Best thing I have done

I remember that Greg!
I also went with a BTS, it was a month wait for me. Well worth it IMO.
Racer X for parts and advice. I would check them out. I just got my trans back together this weekend with parts from them. They also have complete transmission. Racer X Custom Rebuilt Transmissions
I've just got to ask. Every time someone throws up a trans thread, it's all "get a BTS". It's been quite awhile, but last time i talked with Brian he was 6 months out. Needless to say had no choice but to go with a local build. I'm sure things have changed, but at that point it was buy a BTS before your trans goes out or get in line and wait for your build. Just curious, no bashing whatsoever. Sorry for the hijack.
When my tranny went out in the spring of 2010, I called BTS on a Monday, He shipped one out to me that was on his floor on that Tuesday and I had it on my garage floor on Wednesday. To get 'mine' (original) rebuilt would have taken a while and I did not have time to wait. When He has a customor at his shop to get a rebuilt done I know that it takes most of the day to tear it down and rebuild it, but when I vistited his shop for warrenty work there were 5-6 transmissions lined up ready to be shipped out. So it seems to me that he is working on transmissions before his daily client comes and back to working on them after his client leaves. He also has a full service garage there to manage, with the guys working with him as A-1 in my book. If you want that one on one personal service for 'the day'.... I know that you will get it (at least I did). If you need a transmission 'over night'...... I can only tell you that I needed one and I Got One....
