The EGR controls NOx only.

I made mine from a piece of scrap metal roofing i used the gasket as a timplet marked around it and the mounting holes with a sharpie put a dot in the center of the two holes where the vapers go through. I drilled the 2 mounting holes 5/16" and the 2 holes where the gases go through drilled one 5/16" and the other 3/8" then trimed it out with tin snips when i reassambled it i used the hole with the 3/8" hole for the gases to go through this works great. later if it is still running like it is now im going to make one out of 1/16" metal. As for now my truck is running like new.
