My 88 BII was 2 wheel drive with a 5 speed V6. sold it to my son-in-law. Got an Xterra 4x4 now.

My cousin's B2 had the 2.9 in it and a 4 or 5 speed, can't recall.
Dave - Amazing what some people will send to the crusher, isn't it? Even at $730 it's a good deal.

Plus, the 4x4 works great! and got 20 mpg on its first tank including lots of idling while fiddling with wiring.

Thanks, Guys!
I still am torn, keep for a toy, or fix up some cosmetic issues and sell at a profit?

I dunno, I'd be torn too. But I'd be more inclined to keep it as a toy. I did that once already myself - unloaded my Explorer that I had before I got the truck, and somewhat regretting that fact.
