We might break 60 degrees here today!

Waiting for the Portland ANG F-15 flyover to appear.........They pass over the cemetery down the highway every Memorial day and Veterans day.

I cannot seem to bring myself to go to the legion, my granddad did, but my Dad and I just can't seem to do it.

It's going to be over 80 here today. My dad is a member of the legion, and the VFW. He doesn't go much anymore, because of his health. He still goes to his Marine Corp league meetings, though.

 

It's already over 80 here, and were going to head over to the legion shortly for some food and drinks.

 

Steve, my neice showed me a picture of my former home town in Wyoming last night. One of her cousins sent it to her, showing downtown Lander.....with 2 inches of fresh snow. No wonder I don't live there anymore!!LOL

Howdy Neil, how's it going bud? Just walked out to have a look at our lake. It was about 5 parking spaces from the 97, but now it's only 2 parking spaces away!!

 

it is going well today.... went to the parades this morning and then my wife and I loaded all of the dogs up in her car and took them to the park for a walk. I will be firing up the grill later at my parent's and we will have dinner there.

Just got home from the legion, had a few with the boys, OK maybe more than a few...lol

 

Hey Steve. Neil, I didn't have a chance, went to my brothers place straight after work for my dad's birthday, and didn't get home in time to look. I'll check it out tonight.

Rumor has it, we're going to finish refueling, then forego start up, until we can figure out what is going to happen with the river. They may put us all back on a 5-8's schedule for a while.

 

Is that good, it won't have any impact on your vacation does it?

 

Better not. Otherwise they'd have to reimburse me the full price of it. But, since I don't work directly on the plant anymore, there shouldn't be a problem.

Yes. Yes it would. My wife would not be happy...AT ALL. But, I don't think that will be an issue.
