As most of you know, we full time in ours. We needed just a little more room than the Carbon 33 had to offer and we got the Cherokee 39
I could not be happier with this rig right now. Down side, the list we have for warranty work is getting extremely long. This thing is not put together with a lot of attention to detail.
Main issue I was having after getting it home, was the size of the main TV....
I mean come on, what the hell....
I have been told that I sometimes go a little overboard when I do things, but I do not think that was the case here.....
Oh and the Harry Potter series is by far the best book series turned movie series out there....that is all.
I do offer to help when I see someone struggling with backing into a site, typically I'll offer to stay in their mirror view and give hand signals after discussing exactly where they would like to land. If they decline the offer, then I get out of the way and watch.
I agree on the shorter is harder comment, my 5X8 utility trailer is waaay harder to back up than the giant TT is.
And I too am tired of the cold already and am ready for the camping season to start. We are starting to plan our March (11th through 19th) trip, looks like maybe Nashville at this time, still looking at various campgrounds. Does anyone have any in that area to recommend?
Lol we are going to miss each other again we're planning on Nashville March 20-24th.
I went with the Sailun S637s from the same vendor as I had bought the wheels, got the ST235/80R16s that are 2.5" taller than the stock tires. Fortunately our TT had 6" between the tires and just enough room above without any contact to the trailer floor on full suspension travel, and our X-Chocks still fit and work correctly.
Since I'm going to be making these upgrades to the hubs/wheels/tires I figured I might as well keep going and upgrade to heavier shackles and wet bolts with bronze bushings with this MorRyde kit. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...=AHSEAWK2CKAVE
I'm contemplating building a shock kit for the TT also, still looking around at existing setups to copy.
Everything (except a shock setup) is installed and road tested on last week's 1660 mile trip to/from Nashville without any issues.
The original equipment.
The new stuff.
The new bronze bushings vs the original plastic bushings.
The new heavy duty shackles and wet bolts with an old shackle for comparison.
I trust you will update us on the shock setup when you figure it out. I'm waiting for someone to figure what works easily.
It's on the list Eric, but that list is pretty long.

Most TT wheels aren't even balanced, I'm sure yours are (as are mine) .
Looks great, nice work Tom and bride.
Am thinking of shocks just to help smooth the ride back there out some more, it's not bad now, but I'm always in for making (unnecessary) improvements! It seems like the more miles we travel the worse the roads get.
They aren't currently balanced, my tire guy thinks I'm nuts with the way overkill tires and all. I had asked to have them balanced but that didn't make it onto the work order in the shop, so I may have them back there sometime this season for the balance to be done.
Thanks, having her help really made the job a lot easier. Plus she likes to be around when I'm working so there will be someone to call 911 when needed.

You better shake her down before you let her in the house. I think she stole a couple lug nuts!
Thanks Hoss, I agree on both counts!
The lug nuts are my fault, I never gave any thought to needing 8 more of the stainless clad nuts when I upgraded to the 8 lug hubs from the stock 6 lug hubs. The ones that look to missing actually have the standard open nuts in place, I did order and install the 8 new clad fancy clad ones after the pictures but before the trip. And they all held the proper torque over the 1600+ mile test drive.
