2011 cutoff date for ordering a Ford????
Hey guys. I appreciate all the posts and I have learned a lot about the new EB F150 from all the reading I've done the last couple of weeks on this site. I'm planning to order a 2011 FX2 SC EB as soon as I sell my 03 F250 diesel. I was told by a dealer that Ford will stop taking orders for 2011's in late April or early May. I'm not shocked that they stop orders at some point to get ready for the 2012 models. My question is do any of you know the exact cut off date for ordering a 2011? I've asked the dealer, but have not heard back as of yet. Thanks for the info. This forum is awesome!

Talked to my dealer today, and they are hearing April 18 is the cut off date, but that it could be a little sooner due to lack of parts coming from Japan. Take it for what's it worth, but these guys have always been up front with me.

Forgive the "stupid" question. 
So what happens after the cut off? Do I have to wait to order a 2012? If so, about when does that process open up?
I was/am planning to order a new 2011, but cannot due to the paint issue. I have never ordered a new truck before, so I am a bit confused.
Sadly, no dealer in the country has what I want.
FX4 Ecoboost, Long Box, Nav, NO sunroof, Black, 20in wheels, Leather.

Typically, if you miss the cut off date for ordering this years model, your order gets placed on next years model. Normally, not a big deal.
If by long box you mean 8 foot bed. Ford doesn't offer the FX4 with this bed. So, no one will have one.

I am looking for a 6.5 box, rather than the 5.5 box that seems very easy to get.
I found one with a sunroof that has all the other toys I want, but not sure if it will be a problem. Every one I test drove with a sunroof I hit my head.

Wow, hit your head. You must be one tall person.
I understand on the 6.5' box. I gave up looking locally for a supercrew with the 6.5' box because I could only find a random XLT or cloth interior FX4. I'm now hooked on heated leather seats, so cloth wasn't an option.

Not really, only 6'4". I need to go back to the dealer and look at one with a sunroof again as "maybe" I could adjust the seat lower to eliminate the issue. I might be able to find what I want that way...
The 6.5 box is one of the reasons (along with the EB and productivity screen) that I am looking at a Ford. I have never owned one, but the 2011 is pretty impressive IMO.
