Delevery Date disposition???

Has anyone run into an issue with there delivery date not being updated?

The last update was for my truck to be delivered on November 3rd, and there has been no update since. Per Ford it is, "Pending an Update".

I have a new 2017 F350 Platinum on order. Build date per ford/dealer was 10-18-16.

Vehicle was ordered back in March when the ordering opened up.

Thanks in advance for any information!

Well, this is going to sound bad, but I sure am glad to see I'm not the only one that is stuck with their delivery date not updating. My build date was similar to yours, on 10-20-16, with an original delivery date of 11-5-16, which moved to 11-10-16.

With the 10th having come and gone, it still hasn't updated, and the dealer still shows the vehicle "In Production" vice "Awaiting Shipment". According to his tracking records, it shows that the vehicle was "Released to Body" on 10-20-16, the day it was built. Apparently, it is released there to have the spray in bed liner done. Did you happen to order the liner as well?

Either way, the tracking hasn't updated since 10-20-16, and nobody can tell me an updated ETA. Looks like we are in this together.

I'm still thinking it has to do with some of us ordering the Super Cab.
Quite a few who have ordered Crew Cab early have been riding around in their '17 for quite some time now.

Some just got the worm for ordering early.

Ordered 08/02; built 10/19; ETA of 11/01 then 11/08 has come and gone with no new ETA. Dealer called me last week to let me know their rep noted there is a hold on my truck. They don't no what the hold is or how long it'll be. CCLB F-350 DRW Lariat with ultimate, adaptive cruise, tow technology, LED lights, power boards, Bedliner.

I'm in the same boat and believe it is related to the spray-in liner. Order date of 9/6. Build date of 10/14 and still in production.

Has anyone gotten an update? I too had a build date of Oct 20 and then it was "released to body company "with another ETA of Nov 3 which has come and gone with no truck. And somehow nobody can seem to find my f350 srw lariat ultimate long bed. No new ETA. No updates. Nothing

Since I have seen a few SC around here and dealers my thoughts of that idea have diminished. It may be more that the SC Lariat with extras is not a package deal. When the order for a KR of Platinum comes through most items are in a package, easy to prepare for. A dressed up SC Lariat is much more ala carte. I maybe wrong but but having 7 months to think about this with no evidence to the contrary I will declare it truth.

still nothing....my truck was ordered back when the ordering just opened up....its build date was 10-18-16, and is a loaded f350 srw crew cab diesel platinum. The dealers Rep has seemingly not responded to the dealers questions for an updated time, and ford customer service doesn't know anything either....this is very bizarre

my last delivery date was November 3rd....no update past that

I still have no update on my order, it's very frustrating knowing it was built a month ago and it's still just sitting at the plant. My dealer also has no update from their rep on why there is a hold on my truck.

My wife bought a new 4-runner last week which was manufactured in Japan and has a build month of October. Maybe Ford could learn something from Toyota on getting vehicles built and shipped out right away.

Yeah, my dealer doesn't show a "hold" on my truck, but with that said, they actually don't show anything past "Released to body". Similar to others, Ford Customer Service doesn't know anything either. It really doesn't make much sense, but I'm glad to see it is "fleet" wide, and not just a problem with only my truck. The fact that nothing is updating is the most surprising to me. You give me a new date, I can deal with that, but if you allow my ETA to pass with no updates after over a week, then we have a problem. I guess this still isn't as bad as those that ordered right when the window opened and still don't have a VIN!

Jbair14, at the risk of highjacking this thread, and on an unrelated note, is Bair your last name by any chance? If so, we might be extended family!

Yes, Bair is my last name. I'm located in Colorado and come from a long line of Ranchers and sheep herders.

Just confirmed with my dealer that on Friday ford did notify the dealers that the spray in bedliner is delaying our trucks and that they are "estimating" the end of December as the catch up date. The sheet also said at the bottom the ford will prioritize the retail and plan orders before the stock orders.
