I love having a white truck but black when it's clean (which is rarely ever) looks amazing. The ecoboost would be sweet to have but you can't really go wrong with the 5.0 either. Good luck and keep us posted.
Awwww man Tim! I'm excited for you! Good luck and post up some pics when you get it. I for one would never purposely own another black vehicle for the reasons mentioned above. I just don't have it in me to keep my truck spotless anymore, and brother it ain't easy to keep any color clean working construction!
Sweet! Good for you Tim. From the sounds of it (reading all your posts and your research) you deserve it.
If there were a vote, like our opinions matter , I would go with Truck #2. Black EB with 3.31s sounds like a great cruiser.
Don't be silly bro! I posted it so I welcome comments, advice and such.
I was actually leaning towards the white 5.0L with 3.55's but I was overruled by my bride who wants the black and secretly I do to. I've had a black truck and there's nothing prettier when clean and uglier when dirty.
This is my first new truck in 25 years, I think I can muster the energy to keep her clean for a bit. I think the 3.31's will be a nice combo with the EB engine.
I talked with my sales rep a bit today. I told him that they should throw in a spray in bed liner and consider it an investment in future loyalty.
Good luck Tim, after 25 years you deserve a new truck. I almost didn't go with black this time.12 of my last 15 vehicles have been black and I still have 3 black vehicles. But I couldn't bring myself to go with a different color. On a positive note tuxedo black is a little more forgiving than regular gloss black to keep clean.
