Red Bull is known for cranking out custom promo vehicles. I saw job posts for the shop that picked up the contract for the Red Bull Mini-conversions along with a few others awhile back. Good find Brady.
The damaged white truck blew a freeze plug and it poured out, soaking the rear tire. With that much power, there's not much hope of keeping it going straight. The driver is fine.
Yeah, it's hard to imagine coolant pressure being so high (from a head gasket or whatever) that a freeze plug would blow without also blowing off every hose and popping a radiator too.

On the other hand, the water pump probably moves 100 gpm at 2,500rpm, so what rpm was he cranking up at the line? I dunno, but that pump had to be building some huge pressure inside the block.
A metal plug, with a .002" interference fit, with a light coat of nasty old fashioned black permatex really should be up to the job.
Don't care much for the Picasa software. It seemed intent on synchonizing the photos on my PC with the Google server. I'm not comfortable with letting that happen without my direct involvement.
For photo editing, I use Paintshop Pro, now published by Corel. I still use an older version before Corel bought it.
For free software on a netbook, I use Irfanview. It is capable enough to prepare or manipulate pics for general web use, like posting here on FTE.
I use IrfanView exclusively (cheap SOB). Though not as powerful as Photoshop (by any means!), it has a nice plug-in suite that increases its capabilities considerably.
I only recently discovered its ability to optimize photos for website use, which reduces page load time significantly.
Yep, Irfanview is pretty darn good, and most people won't need anything else. Including me.
BTW, I use Paintshop, not Photoshop. Photoshop is published by Adobe, and is the gold standard of editing software. And costs several thousand $. Paintshop is something like $30.
Huge fan of free software. I'm running linux currently, so I've got a couple options - all of them open source (free). I need to get my windows virtual machine back up and running though - still a few programs I can't get a linux version for.
Fortunately, I still keep a small library of win software on for such occasions. I wonder how many of those will be compatible with Win7... or if I'm going to have to scrounge for new versions. (Getting good at that too... even on the cheap.)
