In stock with my waste gate hooked up wot at 20 lbs, with it unhooked it's at 24 lbs. This is on stock. It will boost much higher with the tunes, like 28-30.
I know for a fact this truck had a chip on it before I bought it and had already had some of the intank mods done. Ice had the truck for just over a year now and put 20,000 miles on it. To me it runs the exact same way as when I bought it. The current mods I gave on it are the HPX, FRX, WW, 6637, big boost boots, , int bellowed up pipes and 4-5" exaust turbo back. Also the .50 mod has been done and the #8 ll injector has a normal ad in it's place.
I wouldn't assume they're related. Keep an open mind. You're brakes aren't dragging are they? Stuck slide pin maybe? Carry a bunch of weight in the truck all the time?
By the way, anyone know what the stock 0-60 time is just so we have it for comparison purposes.
I myself have been chasing a mpg issue like this. I have a right side pull when I brake. I was told to relube the slide pins. Also the right rim will have more brake dust on it than the driver side. How do I check for sticking brakes? Maybe bullas and my issue could be similar
I guess we'll find out once I finish the brakes. I'm not to sure on how to tell if a caliper is bad but the slide pins, if bad they just won't move. Maybe my brakes could of had something to do with it, heck after spending almost 700 bucks on front and rear brakes and rear axle bearings I'd be tickled pink. And here lately I ain't been to tickelish!
Just to say, I did the 60 mph in 2.0xx seconds. I'm leaning more to something electrical that is wrong with your truck.
You know Rick I've been thinking with the truck having the chip and some intank mods done I'm starting to wonder if someone might of gotten into the idm and fudged with something! Guess there's one way to find out!! Haha
