ok i know you did a pcm and idm swap and i think you swapped out ipr or icp's but which one was it? did you use a new ipr or rebuilt one? did you replace both the ipr and icp at the same time?
David,
I assume the manual gauge was hooked up to the right bank, correct? Did you monitor the ICP with AE while making this run? If so, how did the pressures compare?
I data logged both runs but I can't recal the numbers. I'm not sure how to post a data log either. But I'll take a look tonight!
Print the data log as a PDF (adobe). If you don't have that as an option you may be able to download a PDF printer online (software). Then it will be a picture that you can post like all the rest.

I struggle with the data logs as well. I've found it's best not to monitor too many parameters at once because it's just too much information for AE to handle (or perhaps it's the data connection itself...)
What you can do is just look at the time stamp on your data log and cross reference to the time stamp on your video. This will help you to get your data log to align with the video so you can compare the readings at several points.
If the readings from AE vary substantially from the temporary gauge then your next step would be to connect the gauge to the left bank and see if the readings are the same. If the gauge reads the same on both banks, and there is a variance from what AE sees, then you will need to verify if the gauge is accurate. (not sure how to do that exactly...) Maybe the PortaPower can be used to check your gauge calibration?
At any rate, if the readings are different from bank to bank then you can look into that issue a bit further.
If the readings are the same from bank to bank with a verified calibrated gauge and AE is showing something else, then you need to look at the ICP wiring in more detail. Is there a possibility that a previous owner attempted some sort of resistor mod on the ICP wiring? If so, wouldn't that cause all kinds of problems with the custom tunes?
Ok guys I dud not data log it but I did notice when the pressure drops from 3000psi-2500psi on the mechanical gauge, it does drop on the ae from 27-2800psi to about 2400psi. When that pressure change happens the duty cycle drops from 40%-32%. some mentioned it had to do with when I shift so I kept it in drive with the od cancel button in the off position and again the pressure dropped and would not come up till I let off and floored it again.
Also I was playing in the 60 tow tune and if I floor it the pressure would drop but if I let off a lil then get back into it my pump actually registered over 3000 on my ae and duty cycle at 64%. strange!
Have you got an OCR, Dave? I can't remember if you have a boost fooler or not. Kinda sounds like defueling. But with your sticks acting like they are, spitting oil like that, I still don't think they're right.
I've been getting your calls... been working as of late. I'll call you back ASAP.
Ok guys that dip in pressure happens at 3000rpm's. Maybe they are supposed to do that. I also hooked the gauge to the driver side and it's showing the same results.
On a side note, I need a turbo for towing! Van or 38r? I
Guess cause my truck is so
Heavy it puts an extra strain on the turbo. Even with a ww I still had trouble with surge. I think that's what wore my other turbo out like it did! I towed my tractor today and couldn't even use my 80 tune, all it wanted to do was surge. Then in my 60 I still had to watch how I accelerated cause it would surge.

I was getting surge the other day in 80t pulling around 5k. I have a ww also but mine is a srw short bed 4 door. I had a strong head wind though.
