firewall tag
i pulled this tag off the center of the firewall on the engine side right behind the air cleaner. i know the top row of numbers is the vin and the shift in the plant.

u8 comb rpo c us u8 is color code
3x e 7 aft
i can not find a chart to say what the name of the color code u8 is. can someone help? the color of the dash is the same as the id tag i have pictured.
so i dont know how to add a photo if someone can help with that as well.

That's a "buck" tag. It was used by assy line workers to insure the proper parts were installed durring manufacture.
While some info can be decoded, there is no actual way to decode the buck tag like you can decode the warranty plate.
As for the color code, what year is your truck. The same codes are used for different colors durring different years.
