It doesnt do th twist when its just sitting and is there a way to test the cab mounts? I looked at them and they looked good but liek i said i just looked at them. It will do this twist at any speed all I have to do is let off the gas and you can see the cab move back to the right. Im thinking if it was the cab mounts the whole left side would have to be broken off becuase of how far the front left comes up
A new body mount kit won't help you if you have the problem like I had on my rear cab mount. In the picture below, you can see the painted grey crossmember with the large 3 inch diameter hole. That hole is supposed to be about 1/2", not 3 inches. That is where the rear cab rubber mount sits, and as you can see, it had totally rusted out underneath the rubber.
The picture is actually the replacement crossmember I got from the junkyard. The crossmember was in much better shape than mine, and that's the reason I replaced my crossmember, but even the one from the junkyard in good shape still was rusted out as you can see under the cab mount. After I plated it and got it fixed, no more rattling driver's side door when going over bumps in the road.
