no worries, i kid. too many guys around here already did the olive drab thing.

personally i like the white cab, problem is the eh-hole buddy that owned it last painted the bed while it was on the truck and got some over spray on the back and sides of the cab and it looks like chit. otherwise i'd stick with the white.

the cab was actually painted white and clear coated before i bought it the first time. i don't want to try and touch it up as it's sun faded a bit, and white spray paint always looks like chit to me anyways so i'm not going to do the whole cab with it. might not even paint it black, might just leave it how it is. the white cab black bed domino look is growing on me for some reason.

quick question if i do decide to paint it. it has some pin striping accent stickers on it. what would be the way to go about removing them????

Truf. They handle more load but they wear out quick on a rig thats drivin alot on the street. Also check your state laws regaurding them. Here in WV i can use them but i have to have a "safety" washer on either side so that if the ball part wears out it just cant pop out.

That's still debatable. I've had the same heim joint on my 150 since 1999 when I did the SAS and have had no issues. That truck has been through tons of mud, pushed a bunch of snow/subjected to road salt, anf the worst that has happened is the bolts rusted so bad I had to cut them off when I stole the linkage for my ranger. And that runs in nothing but mud.

What's the next lame reasoning for not using good quality kevlar lined rod ends? Oh and I got mine from rod end supply.

Thats strange. About a year ago I had a TRE pop out on a 250 we have at work and I lost the steering but they have a " safety rule on heims?
I guess they trust the ford engineers more that us back yard engineers.

Thanks for the help every one.......

There is rubber eraser adapter for die grinders/sander/cut-off wheel, what I have always used. Works great, safer than a heat gun!
