I agree with all on this forum too. My 2012 shift quality/ throttle response feels like something the russians built. Hard to believe after the torq5 was so nice.
I have a 2011 and have exactly the same problems. Shifts down and it feels like you go hit from behind the dealers says no fix for it. It has become dangerous as it-will rev up when it shifts down. Worse when it is cold. Spent money at t dealer and thy can no fix it they want me to come back so they can reset it and charge me again. Any idea where to call at ford i am tired of paying as it is out of warranty
.
Same here with my 2011. Dealer called and said they are replacing the solenoids in the transmission. Once I get it back later today, I'll update with any further information I receive.
I have 167000 km on my F350 local dealer just wanted to keep hooking up the computer did nothing and charged me 120 bucks each time. Took it to a Ford dealer three hrs north of me where i knew the sales-manager he talked to the service manager they road tested it said yes there is a problem told me there is three solenoids and one of them is bad. Since they are all inside the trans pan i should replace them all and check the valve body, they found some of the valves were tight and freed them up. Cost me 1300 bucks and no warranty per ford but it shifts like a new truck. Not happy with ford as i have been complaining for 6 months about it. But out of warranty now. Ian back to enjoying my truck. Thanks to the ford dealer in Owen Sound Ontario
I have a 2012 f250 that's been in the shop 4 = 6-10 day periods for this problem Ford engineer came by after Lemon Law papers were filed < and yea you would know it he said everything was normal haha. Well Monday I'm send a letter to National Transportation Safety Board and a repurchase request to Ford, and I would suggest all yall do the same.
