Not new to the Forum, but new to the Powerstroke team....
Just purchased and 06 F250 Crew Back FX4 with 96,000 miles. I am in the process of making sure all the maintenance is caught up.
Thanks to you and your detailed threads on this forum, I successfully, and I believe correctly flushed my coolant, and installed a Sinister coolant filter!!
I should be able to budget the Semi Bulletproof package in July, as maintenance and not to fix a problem!! The truck seems to be in great shape!
So Far I have change-
Air Filter
Fuel Filters
External Trans Filter
Flushed Brake System - Mighty VAC
New Ford EGR Valve - and no signs of moisture!!
Didn't see oil and oil filter listed and you might also want to install a Magnefine R038M 3/8" filter in your power steering return line. On your oil, fuel, tranny and air filters be sure to use OEM filters only.

The dealership changed it before I bought it, so I am good for a while and plan to use the Motorcraft filter. The only one I purchased that is not OEM is the internal trans filter, its a WIX... Should I give it away or use it?
Thanks for the heads up on the power steering filter!
69cj,
Why oem filters?
Don't know about fuel filters but my local walmart has motorcraft & fram oil filters.
I was always buying the motocraft filter till one day while standing in the isle, I opened the fram & motorcraft boxes and compared filters. they were 100 % identical right down to the stenciled ink numbers on the top of the filter. The only difference was fram was a few bucks cheaper. Fram make the motorcraft filters??
