It is a bad idea like everyone is saying but so is getting a tuner unless you have headstuds. If you want to blow smoke and beat on your truck, buy one that can actually withstand the abuse. You cant do a damn thing with the powerstroke without messing it up but I'll tell you from experience I used to have a dodge that rolled coal like a freight train and it loses the fun factor after a few weeks.
