Yes the belt was also changed and all the pullys are in good shape and spin freely. The only other thing i come up with would be a hole in the exhaust or something with the EGR valve i was told. I am realy at a loss!!!
Very common for the up-pipes to crack at the flex portion of the pipe and whistle very loud. Might want to look closely at those. It can also be caused by a leak at the EGR cooler gasket at the up-pipe connection.
On a 2003 I beilieve you can just unplug the egr valve, no need to delete, check out the 6.0 forum. My turbo went out 3 times on my 6.0 and it did not squeal, but you could hear the bearings it sounded like some thing rubbing on plastic when you let off the throttle.
