squilling while driving straight?
well i noticed a few days ago my truck just decides it wants to make a squilling noise outta no where....it just happens off and on, turning, applying the brakes or hitting bumps dont make it start....just wondering what it could be, could it be pads? its does have 75k on the original brakes

Does the noise go away when you apply the brakes? Most of the time front brakes have a wear sensor that touches the rotor when the pads are worn past a certain thickness and makes a high pitched noise. When this happens applying the brakes usually makes it go away.

never really noticed....i guess ill pay attention tomorrow....either way the brakes are coming off in a couple days....i figure changing the pads for the first time after 75k miles is plenty of time
